PSA Consultancy offers; athlete scholarship consultancy, NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) approved showcases, management, career counseling, individual training and athlete image services.

1. Basketball: PSA, four basketball players previously had a chance to study in the USA with full scholarship. It also provided scholarships to more than 20 athletes at certain rates.

2. Football: PSA had a chance to study 1 full-time footballer in the USA.

3. Volleyball: PSA had the chance to study 2 full-time volleyball players with full scholarship.

PSA not only from the American and Canadian students from Turkey, before Italy, Serbia, Montenegro and Jordan, we also take away players. Thanks to talent scouts working in the PSA team, we can easily reach these players.

Matija Milovic is our Balkans talent scout. Nicholas Algie is our Italian talent scout. Therefore, we have more access to mainly Turkish, Serbian or Italian speaking athletes. Our scouts from across Europe help us collect data on good players.

At PSA, athletes working with us must have a certain profile. Since we represent schools, we have filters for scholarship criteria.

First of all, you must be a good student. It is rare for a student with low grades to receive high amounts of scholarship, even if he is a very good athlete.

The students working with PSA were always very good students. Our successful athletes in the US have always understood the importance of the lessons.

Students who are aware of the importance of SAT and TOEFL exams usually receive higher scholarships. These exams can be difficult to work in Turkey. But it is easier in America because of the education system. The students who are interested in this test are the ones who care about this test.

Of course, the success of your sport is very important in this sense. Being one of the best players in your own team, having match videos, highlights, letters of reference are some of the other important factors.

On the other hand, there is a course average expected from athletes for the protection of scholarships. Players whose average is below 65 are first cut off from the team and if this continues (the school has a certain time in this sense) the athlete’s scholarship may be dropped.

The scholarship opportunities we receive from the USA include many prices. However, there are some extra fees not included in this scholarship.

Including: Home (Accommodation) – 3 meals a day – Book Coins (Except some books) – Shuttle service to and from the airport, Airport-home transportation services.

Excluding: Airline – Visa and Passport – Insurance – Uniform

All employees of PSA are professionals who have previously had training and sports experience in the United States and Canada.

Therefore, the PSA team makes a difference as individuals who have experienced these stages before and have been successful in this process.

The team now aims to pass on all these experiences to its clients on the first hand and to provide scholarship privileges to athletes with outstanding opportunities.

PSA is always open to sharing all past and current references with new clients. On the other hand, the founders of PSA also serve as sports director at Bella Vista, one of the champion epaulettes of the USA.

PSA also includes an NBA-approved scout. PSA also operates with a very important school network both in Turkey and abroad.

Our international sports scholarship application process operates with a 4-step action plan.

Pre-Consultation: A pre-consultation with PSA is always free of charge. This call is made face to face and via Skype and takes approximately 1 hour.

The first 20 minutes of this interview is to get to know the family and the student. The other 20 minutes will be specific questions that we will ask you, and these are asked to help you get to know and guide you better. In the last 20 minutes, we will be talking about what we can offer you based on your information.

2- Application (Application Process): After the preliminary consultation, the application form for interested students and their families is completed in the second stage of this process.

In this form, in addition to your academic and sporting achievements, we also want you to share your social projects and hobbies. The information given should be absolutely accurate because the school we will find will be focused on this information.

After completing this form, which will include your high school report cards, match videos, passport information and family information, you must sign and discard it to the PSA advisor.

3- Placement: The school placement process begins. Students who complete their applications before 15 February are given 3 months and students who complete their applications after 15 February are given 5 months.

During this period, PSA finds schools with the highest percentage of matching for students. After filtering the offers received, the most suitable ones are presented.

4- VISA (Visa): The visa process of the students with school placement is starting. The F-1 student visa is applied with the I-20 document coming from the schools.

After obtaining the visa, the student receives the American ticket according to the starting date of the school and the process is completed.

As PSA, our network of universities and high schools is quite wide. At universities, we can place NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association), NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) and Community College schools. In high school there are schools that we have contracted in many parts of America and Canada, both in the West and East.

We place athletes in our partner schools according to the academic and athletic expectations of the students. On the other hand, we have all the foreign student influences of a two-time American champion in basketball (Bella Vista).

Emir Demirkıran, the foreign student director of Bella Vista College Prep, is one of the co-founders of PSA. In this sense, we have a very important competitive advantage compared to other companies doing this business.

Who has custody of the student during the scholarship processes is the first issue that is examined first. If the athlete has custody of the student, the signature and approval of the parent is required during the application process.

On the other hand, the procedures do not differ from sex. Our whole process continues in the same way for both girls and boys.

PSA is a global consulting company and therefore it does not matter which country you are a citizen of.

Although PSA Consultancy is divided into high schools and universities, the athletes and students working with us can receive counseling from PSA until graduation.

We can also provide management services to our athletes who want to be professional players. As a company, we have employees who work as Career Counselors and these consultants work for the students working with us to realize the projects they have in mind after graduation.

When we look at the students who work with PSA once, they can get service from us as long as they want.

A student whose sports scholarship application process has resulted in negativity has the right to apply for a second time. One of the consequences of the negativity may be a visa veto meal. Our right to retry on such matters is 3.

If there is a problem other than a visa, such as the absence of a scholarship, the first payment we receive is refunded (80%) and families are told why the athlete cannot find a scholarship.

They can try again with us for the next academic year, and the second attempt will not charge any money in advance. The athlete may reapply for the next academic semester.

In this important decision and in the following process, the most important advice we can give to the families is to remove the idea that my child cannot do it.

Believe in your children and let them experience difficulties in their lives. At this point, it should be known that living alone in countries like America and Canada is a very special experience in itself. Families’ patience in this process is another recommendation we can give.

Some families can see the list of schools and come to us with the expectation that the school will be announced.

We, as a professional consulting firm, are completely focused on doing our job right, and sometimes it takes time to find the right school. Therefore, patience is the most important determinant in this process.

Play Sports Abroad’s high school and university athlete scholarship fees vary.

Stage 1: After the discussions with the potential student, all preliminary information is communicated to him in detail. Then the athlete is asked to fill out the application form to apply for the scholarship program. With this process, the first payment obligation is paid as the deposit amount. Afterwards, the PSA team starts to search for various criteria according to the information provided by the student.

Step 2: There are schools that are most suitable for the student, and PSA advisors contact the student’s parents and inform the parents about the schools and allow the family time to evaluate the proposals. During this process, a certain number is taken from the family. Once the family has decided on the school, the school registration process begins.

Step 3: After the school registration process has started and finished, the waiting period for the I-20 (visa paper) coming from the school is started at the last stage. According to I-20 rules, this paper can be written up to 3 months before the earliest school start date. Therefore, those who apply early may have to wait for a while at this stage. Before the I-20 departs, the PSA advisors will notify the student and the final installment will be paid.
